Individuals with autism, their families, friends, loved ones, and care providers are invited to the Autism Awareness Fair.
The Fair will take place this year on Saturday, September 12 from 11am to 3pm (rain or shine) at Chambersburg Area Middle School South, 1151 E. McKinley St, Chambersburg.
The Autism Awareness Fair offers games, sensory activities, and educational information from autism experts. There will also be free food and drink as well as entertainment provided by Phantom Shadow.
“It reall is a great time filled with fun activities for the children, and helpful discussion sessions for parents,” said Dr. Stephen Flack, physician at Summit Primary Care “It’s an important topic, and it’s so wonderful to see so many community organizations come together to show their support.”
The fair was made possible this year through sponsorship from Summit Health, BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc., and Lt. Col. Eugene Powell, Ret. and Lt. Col. Helen Skiba-Powell, Ret.
