This is an informal event and a grass roots effort to create visibility for the Developmental Disabilities Community and to enjoy our beautiful city park. The CVSM Community String Orchestra will present a spring concert on Tuesday, March 31st at 8:00 PM in Thomson Chapel. The performance is FREE and open to the public. Brian Helman, pianist, featured soloist The program will feature Helman performing three selections with the orchestra: Largo from Piano Trio in G by Ludwig van Beethoven, the Finale from Hoboken Trio by Joseph Haydn, and Etude Op 10 No. 4 by Frederic Chopin. The orchestra will also perform Coppia Real by Orazio Vecchi, Adagio from Organ Sonata Op. 65 No. 1 by Felix Mendelssohn, Overture to the Magic Flute by W. A. Mozart, and Bolada de Aficionado Tango by Angel Villoldo.
