The Choristers had their beginning at the high school over 50 years ago under the direction of Mr. Paul Lucas with the intention of training a select group of performers to represent the school throughout the community and beyond. Over the years, the Choristers have performed on television, at the State Capitol, and in St. Patrick’s Cathedral, have participated in choral festivals, and have been invited to sing for important conferences and events throughout the area and state. They perform about 30 times per year. The group has grown from 18 voices to the present 40. Choristers are selected from the 11th & 12th grade members of the 245 student Glee Club (grades 9 through 12). The Esquires are an all male ensemble chosen from the Choristers. Mirinesse is an all female ensemble chosen from the Choristers.
