DESCRIPTION:Franklin County 4-H is holding a berry plant sale\, offering four varieties of strawberries\, one variety of red raspberries\, and one variety of black raspberries. New this year\, we are offering two varieties of everbearing strawberry plants and one variety of blackberries. All orders are due by March 5\, and pickup will be on April 24 from 9 AM – 4 PM or April 25\, 9 AM – 3 PM. Proceeds support 4-H programming\, which served over 4\,000 youth in Franklin County last year. All berries are sold as bare root plants in bundles\, 25 plants per bundle for strawberries\, and 5 plants per bundle of raspberries and blackberries. DESCRIPTION:CHAMBERSBURG – The Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter is hosting Cabin Fever Music Fest on Saturday\, February 21\, in the Orchards Ballroom\, 1580 Orchard Drive. Doors open at 4 p.m. with music starting at 5. \nMajor sponsors for the event include F&M Trust\, Scott’s Hauling and Excavating and Keystone Ford. \nTickets are $10 in advance or $12 at the door. Tables of 8 may be purchased for $80 and a name must be given to hold the table. Tickets can be purchased at the shelter on Letterkenny Road West or the shelter’s thrift store at 66 S. Main St.\, Chambersburg. \nPerformers will include the Jill Fulton Band\, Soleil\, Cameron Molloy Band\, the Negley Brothers and Club Medics. \nA cash bar and the limited menu will be available. \nA 50/50 drawing\, fish bowl tickets and raffle baskets will also be available and cash will be required to participate. \nProceeds from the Cabin Fever Music Fest will benefit the thousands of homeless animals who come through the doors at CVAS each year. \nFor more information\, call the shelter at (717) 263-5791 or log onto cvas-pets.org.
