Allison-Antrim Museum is once again welcoming visitors to see Elvis – The Humanitarian. \nElvis Presley was born 91 years ago on January 8\, 1935\, in Tupelo\, Mississippi. In honor and recognition of the King of Rock ‘n Roll\, Allison-Antrim Museum is hosting a special exhibit\, “Elvis\, the Man and Humanitarian” during March and April. 75% of the candid and unpublished photographs and memorabilia can only be seen in this collection. The exhibit centers around Elvis’ personal life\, his attributes\, and Elvis’ charitable and historical contributions. \nHours: \nTuesday and Wednesday\, 10 am to 2 pm\, \nThursday and Friday\, noon to 4 pm\, \nSaturday\, 11 am to 1 pm. \nThe facility is wheelchair accessible. \nThere is no charge for admission\, but donations are greatly accepted.

DESCRIPTION:The first event is a viewing of the motion picture “Seven Days Leave” at the Pine Grove Theatre. The 1942 feature film presents an appearance of the Les Brown Band before it became the Les Brown Band of Renown. The story line of the musical comedy is carried by two new young stars: Lucille Ball and Victor Mature. Doors open at 6:45 pm. Free admission. See it on the big screen.
