Healthy Kids Day® 2026 Returns to Chambersburg YMCA with an Evening of Family Fun

The Chambersburg YMCA invites families to celebrate Healthy Kids Day® 2026, a free and open-to-the-public community event happening Friday, April 24, from 5:00-7:30PM at the Chambersburg YMCA, located at 570 E. McKinley St., Chambersburg, PA 17201.

Healthy Kids Day is back and this year, it’s happening at night! Families are invited to enjoy an evening packed with fun, kid-friendly activities designed to keep children active, engaged, and smiling. Attendees can look forward to crafts, games, sports and physical activities, giveaways, and opportunities to connect with local community vendors.

The event will feature local nonprofit organizations, businesses, and community partners who support children and families through health, education, and safety initiatives. Participants will have access to helpful resources and information that encourage healthy habits both inside and outside the home.

Healthy Kids Day® is part of a nationwide YMCA initiative focused on improving the health and well-being of kids and families. For more than 30 years, YMCAs across the country have brought communities together through free events that inspire lifelong wellness and positive youth development.

Families are encouraged to mark their calendars and bring the whole family for this fun-filled evening at the Y.
