“A VICTORIAN CHRISTMAS” ~ An Evenings Entertainment at Balmoral Castle, Scotland
Presented by Discover DanceWorks in partnership with Danza Antiqua.
Prince Albert designed & built Balmoral Castle as a family holiday home in Scotland where they would entertain family & friends. The Royal Family’s Scottish dancing master kept a diary while he was there. From his diary, we have imagined & created an evening’s entertainment, brought to life with popular Victorian dances, songs, a pantomime & an interactive parlour game.
PERFORMERS WILL BE DRESSED IN REPRODUCTION PERIOD CLOTHING
