👻 🖤🧡 Beginner to intermediate 2-Day Barrel Clinic & Sleep Over Costume Party with Kaitlinn Varner & Ileea Griffiths. 🧡🖤👻

🤩 Kaitlinn has won multiple titles over the past 12 years. Titles including multi- IBRA Top-Dogs, 2021 IBRA Youth Champion, 2020 Delmar Zinn Barrel Bash Champion, & 2017 2D Open PA Timed Events Champion.

🤩 Ileea has over 21 years of riding experience under her belt and has won multiple jackpots in Barrel Racing and other timed speed events. She is the Owner/Operator of Forever Friday Farm & has hauled and showed at numerous facilities.

🐎 Together both Ileea & Kaitlinn bring 33 years of horse experience and have experience working with beginners teaching correctness, horsemanship & discipline from the ground up.

📍Saturday October 23 & Sunday October 24

📌Saturday Arrive promptly at 11am, if not sleeping over – pickup is at 6pm. (Sleepover & costumes are optional) 🐺 Wear costumes this day for best dressed award!

📌Sunday clinic time 8-2pm lunch will be included on this day. We will end with a small jackpot HORSE SHOW where each participant will get to make a ‘run’ at the pattern to show all they’ve learned! ❤️❤️

📚 Topics to be covered include, but not limited to: Barrel Racing Necessities, hauling, trailer tying, drills and learning the pattern, learning how to properly approach & turn a barrel, safety, horsemanship, tack/apparel, maintenance & health needs, feeding & nutrition.
🌟 Living quarters trailer and bumper pull will be on site to allow walkthrough and hands on training for a one or a kind experience.

🚨 Please bring a packed lunch on Saturday, & lunch will be provided on Sunday. Bring water bottles.

Children that are spending the night Saturday will be provided dinner.

🚨 Each clinic participant is to bring a SHAREABLE snack to share at snack times.

💤 Saturday’s Sleepover – please bring a sleeping bag, pillow and change of clothes along with any other necessities. (Sleep over will be held in the barn.)

Auditors are welcome and can participate in the sleep over night for an additional fee, see pricing below.

🛑 Auditors are spectators only and non-riding members that want to watch/learn and understand the sport. No prior horse experience is required to audit. You are encouraged to bring a notepad and pen to take notes. Please bring your own chair. **Auditors please bring a packed lunch or add an additional $5.

🍁 Haul-ins are welcome but require a recent health certificate (within 30 days of event) and negative coggins. Stall rentals are available.

🛢 Age restrictions may vary depending upon riding level. Participants are expected to be able to mount their horses safely, and walk at a minimum, but preferred walk/trot. Students are expected to actively participate and be able to follow directions. AWARDS will be given out.

🎃 Multiple horses that will be utilized during the clinics will be available for on-farm lease and have show/rodeo experience along with multiple wins.

〽️ Anita Hackman will also be doing a Bemer demonstration + explaining what Bemer is and how Bemer helps! A lot of fun activities, and good horses will be there to ride! You don’t wanna miss out😉

The Tide ministry in Chambersburg invites you to join them on a bus trip to the Museum of the Bible in Washington D.C. on Thursday, October 28th. They are excited to announce that one of the microphones used by their founder, Rev. Charlie Byers during the early years of The Gospel Tide Hour radio broadcasts will be on display at the museum.

Light the Night/Trunk or Treat will be held on Thursday night, October 28th from 6 to 8 pm at First United Methodist Church located at 45 N Washington Street in Greencastle, PA.

Join us in the church parking lot for a night of fun! There will be several different decorated trunks for you to pick up some great treats, a movie on the big screen, and lots of lights illuminating the night!

Make sure you add First United Methodist in downtown Greencastle as one of your trick or treat stops on Thursday, October 28th!

Create a piece of art incorporating the word HOPE. What does HOPE mean to you? Use the word however you wish on your canvas.

Entry: $20 Non-refundable donation, goes directly to CVBCA and includes an 8×8 canvas. Once you make your online donation, you will receive a confirmation email that will contain Pick up location information so you can make arrangements for pick up.
