Celebrating 104 years of Sunday School at Caledonia State Park!

Please note: Because of the Coronavirus, several changes have been made in this year’s services:

  • All CDC guidelines will be followed for everyone’s safety.
  • A short-range FM transmitter will be in use so that people may remain in their cars in the Totem Pole Playhouse parking lot if they wish. (Tune to 107.3FM)
  • The services will be held “weather permitting.” If there is any question about a service, go to Facebook.com/SundaySchoolHelp.org.
  • Offering plates will not be passed, but we urge everyone to drop their offering in the designated container.
  • This year THERE WILL BE separate classes for children, pre-school and primary/elementary.

Giant Yard Sale for Missions @ St. Paul United Methodist Church

Giant Yard Sale for Missions

St. Paul United Methodist Women is sponsoring a giant yard sale to benefit missions on Thursday, September 9, from 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM (extended evening hours on Thursday only), Friday, September 10, from 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, and on Saturday, September 11, from 8:00 AM – noon.

The sale will be held in the Family Life Center of the church located at 750 Norland Avenue, Chambersburg, PA.

In addition to lots of yard sale “treasures,” there will be clothing, collectibles, household items, electronics, sporting goods, books, toys, and more. Pap’s Dog Stop Hotdogs and Sausages Cart will be on site Thursday and Friday.

Yard sale proceeds will be distributed to many local missions and other missions administered through the United Methodist Women organization.

HGAC Historic Barns Tour of Gettysburg & Adams County

Travel back in time as you visit seven historic barns in Adams County. After check-in at the Historic Round Barn, drive to each barn in any order you choose and stay as long as you like. Learn about these icons of our rural landscape. Experience living history and arts and crafts of the 19th century including a timber framing demonstration. Photographers, bring your camera! Grand parents, bring your grand children! There will be animals to see and pet!

Tour starts at the Historic Round Barn at 298 Cashtown Road, Biglerville, PA 17307. Check-in time to start the tour is from 10:00 A.M. – Noon. Rain or shine.
